AIHW · NDSHS 2022–23Concordia is a private 8-session program for senior professionals, founders, and partner-track lawyers navigating stimulant, alcohol, or prescription patterns that began as a tool and ended as a tether. Delivered with complete discretion — off-platform notes, after-hours sessions, and a signed confidentiality agreement before the first session.
Concordia clients are not listed on directories, platforms, or public calendars. Correspondence uses a separate email alias. Notes are kept off cloud-based practice software.
The use most likely to remain hidden, untreated, and consequential is the use that happens inside careers that require being on — partners, founders, sales leaders, senior operators. The pattern is rarely the crisis. The pattern is what prevents the crisis from being named.

Concordia is not a 28-day program. It's not inpatient. It's not 12-step. It's not drug-court adjacent. Residential programs work for some — they don't work for a partner who can't disappear from the firm for a month without consequence.
This is clinical hypnotherapy and Gordian psychotherapy, delivered by one clinician, in blocks of eight or twelve sessions, with a structure that respects the logistics of a life that can't be put on hold.
The work is the same work — pattern interruption, nervous-system reset, identity reconstruction after a coping tool stops coping. Just delivered with the discretion these clients need.
Not the standard free intake. A paid qualification call to understand what's happening, what's at stake, and whether Concordia is the right shape. Credited against the program if you enrol.
Signed confidentiality beyond standard clinical privilege. Separate email alias. Notes kept off cloud practice software. Deposit of 50% on commencement.
Weekly or fortnightly. Mix of in-person (private suite, not shared room) and online. Between-session voice check-ins via encrypted messaging. After-hours slots available.
Ninety-minute sessions. Between-session support. Private scheduling. Off-platform record-keeping. Delivered by a single clinician, not a rotation.

Concordia clients correspond with [email protected], not the public hello@ address. Email is optionally routed through encrypted mail.
Session notes are kept on local encrypted storage, not on Halaxy or any cloud practice-management system. Notes are destroyed at program end unless you request retention.
Concordia clients are never shown on therapist directories, on the Lume platform, or on any booking-service calendar. There is no trace of a booking available to a third party.
A mutual NDA is signed before the first session — beyond standard clinical privilege. Your employer, your firm, your family, your assistant never hears from me.
Sessions can be scheduled after 6pm weekdays, early mornings, or weekends. Private suite is not co-located with the public practitioner room.
Delivered by Carla Simpson personally. Not a rotation, not a junior, not an associate. One clinical relationship from qualification call to program close.
A Concordia qualification call is a paid 30-minute conversation to work out whether the program fits. You describe what's happening; I describe how the work would run; we both decide whether it's a match.
